Kazakhstan recognizes National Transitional Council of Libya as acting government

ASTANA. September 5. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Today Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Sarybai has received Charge d'Affaires of Libya to Kazakhstan Ahmed ad-Diba.

Ahmed ad-Diba told about the events occurring in Libya, ands steps the National Transitional Council makes to stabilize the situation.

Kairat Sarybai informed the Libyan diplomat of Kazakhstan's decision to recognize National Transitional Council as the country's acting government. According to him, Kazakhstan believes that the National Transitional Council will take immediate measures to ensure the safety of the civilians and steady operation of the country's state agencies.
