Kazhydromet: Winter storms and icy grip take hold

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Unsteady weather brings on Tuesday precipitations, increase of wind, windstorms, ice slick, fog to the most part of Kazakhstan, Kazhydromet said.

Winds gusting up to 15-20 mps, low-level snow drifting, and morning fog take hold over the Akmola, Zhambyl, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay and South Kazakhstan regions. Increase of winds up to 17-22 mps and windstorms are expected to hit the Mangystau, Atyrau and Aktobe regions, while the east of the country is the only to enjoy clear weather.
