London-2012: Leg injury forces Marina Aitova leave high jump qualification

ASTANA. August 9. KAZINFORM Marina Aitova from Kazakhstan did not compete in Women's High Jump Qualification at the Olympic Park in London. She dropped out of the event due to leg injury.

Head coach of Kazakhstan's national athletics team Vyacheslav Soriko confirmed the situation in a telephone call from London. He announced Marina had problems with Achilles tendon prior to the start of the qualification.
