In 1959, national leader and first President of Vietnam Ho Chi Minh visited the Kazakh SSR for an official trip.
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR Dinmukhammed Kunayev welcomed the high guest.
Ho Chi Minh met also with renowned Kazakh scientist Kanysh Satpayev.
