S Kazakhstan to build wind power station

SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM "It is planned to build a wind power station in Kentau," its governor Abdibakyt Makulbayev told an investment forum.

"Its construction will afford additional sources of energy, especially since alternative renewable sources will play a great role in the future. It will also create new workplaces and increase budget revenues," he added. Besides, the town will also build greenery, a large poultry farm and Zhanatas-Turkestan railway. A number of memoranda worth USD 210 mln was signed at the investment forum so far.
