1 434 settlements in Kazakhstan face lack of secondary schools - Irsaliyev

ASTANA.  August 12. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ 1 434 settlements of the Republic face lack of secondary schools, official representative of the Ministry of Education and Science Serik Irsaliyev has said at a briefing today.

"Therefore local executives deal with a problem of bringing children from such settlements to the schools of neighboring villages. Thus, to date 34 000 children are brought to schools by school buses. This year we provided schools with 1 300 new buses. 96 units of comfortable transport vehicles have been purchased for this aim over the last year", S. Irsaliyev noted.
