1.5 million Kazakhstanis’ pay to increase

ASTANA. KAZINFORM -Increase in pay will receive 1.5 million Kazakhstanis. Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Tamara Duisenova told the briefing in the office of the Central Communications.

"An allowance for salary of civil servants in the amount of 10% will be introduced from April 1. Primarily civil servants, unskilled and freelance workers are taken into account.Their number is 1.5 million people.Today 63.4 billion tenge will be spent on it," said T.Duysenova. According to her, civil servants' salary increase will be carried out in 2 stages.The first one starts in April 1, 2014. The second stage begins in July 1, 2015.
