1 dead, 2 injured in deadly collision in Zhambyl region

TARAZ. November 1. KAZINFORM A truck and a car collided on a mountain saddle in Zhambyl region Thursday night, the regional internal affairs department says.

The Audi-100 driver failed to control his car and committed a fatal collision with KamAZ truck on the Almaty-Tashkent highway on Kuyuk mountain saddle.

As a result of the collision, the 43-year-old passenger of the Audi vehicle died straight away. Two other passengers traveling in the car were injured as well and rushed to the nearest hospital. The driver is safe.

An investigation has been initiated.
