10,000 independent observers to monitor presidential elections in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Nearly 10,000 independent observers will monitor early presidential elections in Kazakhstan scheduled for April 26, 2015.
Maksat Muitunov, the representative of the Republican public commission for monitoring of elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan, made the news public at a special seminar at KazMedia Center in Astana on April 9. "The commission will train nearly 10,000 independent observers ahead of the presidential elections," he said. In his words, the observers will be trained at special seminars and at campaign headquarters set up in all regions of Kazakhstan.
