10 aircrafts to be purchased for 'Air Kazakhstan'
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - "Samruk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund concluded a partnership agreement with Bombardier Inc on the supply of ten aircrafts, this has been announced today by Umirzak Shukeyev, the board Chairman of the fund.
"Air Kazakhstan" the second national carrier in the composition of the fund will use the aircrafts on interregional routes.
According to his words, "Air Astana" and "Air Kazakhstan" will work in partnership, as the fund is a shareholder in both. Umirzak Shukeyev promised to harmonize the interests of the two companies but at the same time he believed that airlines should compete.
The new airline will be registered in May. Operating company has been already identified. Ten aircraft to be purchased and delivered by the end of the current year. The company starts operation in 2015.
