10% of country?s school students are talented children: Director of Daryn National Centre

ASTANA. May 19. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Ten percent of the school students of the country are talented children, Director of Daryn National Scientific Centre Tildash Bituova said commenting on the results of Talented teacher to talented children Pedagogical Olympiad.

?This is quite a big figure for the world practice. But we are lack of talented teachers for these children. Therefore we organize different Olympiads for the teachers to raise their professional level?, T. Bituova said. She also noted that gifted children are revealed not only through subject Olympiads which annually bring together more than 600 school students from every corner of the republic, but also during various competitions and festivals held by Daryn. According to the Director of Centre children?s aptitude is revealed in all directions ? these are sportsmen, mathematicians, physicians, musicians, artists and singers etc.
