100 companies with participation of Kazakhstani capital operate in Georgia
"Presently, one of the main tasks the Government of Georgia faces is strengthening of trade and economic relations between our countries. The vivid example of successful implementation of the Georgian-Kazakh project is construction of the spa and health complex "Rixos-Borjomi" opened on January 14, 2015 in Georgia," the Ambassador said at the business forum in Astana.
He also noted that Kazakhstan, as one of the dynamically developing countries in Central Asia, is a strategic partner for Georgia. "There is a great number of examples of successful state and private projects and programs implemented jointly by our countries, which helps us to strengthen the relations between the governemnt of the two countries. Presently, there are about 100 companies with the participation of Kazakhstani capital functioning in Georgia. The official visit of Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili to Kazakhstan in 2014 gave a new impetus for development of bilateral political, trade and economic and cultural and humanitarian relations," the Ambassador added.
Besides, Z. Patarabze called the Batumi oil terminal one of the main joint projects. The terminal is a seas port for exporting the Caspian oil.
It should be noted that there are also about 80 modern companies with the participation of Georgian capital functioning in Kazakhstan.
