100 injured after slipping on the ice in Aktobe

The number of hospitalizations in the Aktobe Multifield Hospital has tripled. 150 were rushed to the hospital, of which 101 were injured due to falling on the ice. Some of them received head and brain injuries and head concussions, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The regional emergency situations department warned of ice-slick on December 4.

101 people were injured in the past 24 hours. 48 of them sustained closed fractures, and 11 received head and brain injuries and head concussions. 17 people were admitted to the hospital so far. Six people refused treatment in the hospital. Usually, some 60-70 people seek emergency care daily at the trauma unit.

Today the situation is back to normal.
