Kazakhstan to spend 100bln tenge on micro-loans for rural residents

Development of rural areas is a priority task for Kazakhstan. President Kassym-Komart Tokayev said it taking the floor at the Altyn Sapa Prize Awards Ceremonyin Astana on Tuesday, December 12, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Development of a village is a development of entire country, entire Kazakhstan. This year we set to the implementation of Auyl Amanaty state programme. 100 billion tenge of microloans will be allocated for the resident of villages, the President said.

According to him, this measure will let employ up to 18,000 people.

He added that a new comprehensive programme of SMEs support will be launched in Kazakhstan next year, which will enable to support the entrepreneurs with a high production and export-oriented potential.
