MOSCOW. December 13. KAZINFORM Eleven criminal cases have been opened against Moscow Manezh Square rioters who have been charged mainly with rowdiness and intentional harm to people's health; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.

The city prosecutor's office is now considering opening one more criminal case.

Moscow's justice of the peace will examine the cases of 20 persons detained after the mass riot of football fans in central Moscow on Saturday, December 11. They have been charged with failure to obey legitimate demands of police.

The city police department said a number of right-wing radical groups, including the so-called Movement Against Illegal Immigration (DPNI), were involved in the riot.

Football fan leaders assured city police chief Vladimir Kolokoltsev that their peers had not started the disturbances.
