12 enterprises to ensure food security in Astana
ANA. August 19. KAZINFORM Eurasian Foods JSC will launch new equipment on fat-oil production with capacity of 250 tons of oil per day in Karaganda in 2010; the press-service of KazAgroFinans JSC said.
The enterprise is financed within the creation of food belt around Astana city. KazAgroFinans financed about 12 projects amounted to KZT 5.5 bln during 2008-2009. From 12 enterprises receiving financial support 10 enterprises are from Akmola region and two ones are from Karaganda region.
A large trade dairy farm will be put into operation in Shchuchinsk municipality of Akmola region in the second half of 2009. Meanwhile KazAgroFinans plans to launch fruit and vegetable production, sausage and egg production as well as breeding of day-old chicks. This production oriented for sale in Astana is expected to provide food supply security in the region.
