12 innovation grants provided by National Agency for Technological Development this year

ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM 12 domestic innovators will receive innovation grants. On the whole it is planned to support 100 projects, Chairman of JSC "National Agency for Technological Development" Aidyn Kulseitov told a press conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the institute.

"Since the beginning of 2013 about 80 applications have been received, of which 12 have been accepted. On the whole, it is planned to support a large number of projects, about 100, this year," Kulseitov said.

He noted that for 10 years the national agency got more than 3 thousand applications, of which 600 applicants received practical help.Also within the framework of the state program of forced industrial innovative development for the last 3.5 years the agency provided financial support to 396 projects of domestic innovators.

According to Chairman of the Board of Directors Kenzhegali Sagadiyev, in the course of the second five-year plan of the state program of forced industrial innovative development it is planned to focus on the innovative component of the projects.
