12 survivors from crashed AZAL plane near Aktau to be transported to Azerbaijan
Today, 12 survivors from the crashed AZAL plane near Aktau, which was operating the Baku-Grozny route, will be transported to Azerbaijan, AzerTAC reported.
Seven passengers, in satisfactory condition, will be brought back on a regular flight. The remaining five passengers, in serious but stable condition, will be transported by a special aircraft from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, accompanied by a medical team.
38 died and 29 survived as Baku-Grozny flight J2-8243 operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25.
