122 Kazakhstanis and their families to leave Gaza Tue
On November 14 Kazakhstanis and members of their families are set to leave Gaza Strip via the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt, Kazinform Agency learnt from the Gaza borders and border crossings administration.
122 nationals of Kazakhstan who have Kazakhstani, as well as Palestinian citizenship, were included in the list of foreign passport holders allowed to cross via Rafah from Gaza to Egypt.
These people should be present at the Rafah border crossing at 07:00 a.m. local time (10:00 a.m. Astana time).
Besides, the nationals of Northern Macedonia, Finland, Jordan, the UK, Spain, Romania, Germany, Russia, Sweden, the U.S., and Denmark are expected to leave the Gaza Strip on November 14. 159 citizens of Egypt are also supposed to leave Gaza.
The Kazakh Foreign Ministry and Kazakh Embassy in Egypt are taking all necessary measures to help evacuate Kazakhstanis from Gaza.
According to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Aibek Smadiyarov, the evacuation of the first batch of 44 Kazakhstanis from Gaza started. They should be delivered to Cairo by road and then airlifted to Kazakhstan.
As earlier reported, 76 Kazakhstanis and members of their families are staying in Gaza so far.
