13 evacuated as fire breaks out in residential building in E Kazakhstan

13 people, including five children, were evacuated as a fire broke out in one of the apartments on the second floor of a five-storey residential house in Ust Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan, Kazinform Agency refers to the regional emergency situations department.

The firefighters suppressed the fire that covered 13 square meters. The owner of the burning apartment who suffered burns was rushed to the hospital.

12 firefighters and four units of fire extinguishing machinery were engaged at the fire.

The regional emergency situations department urges all to maintain fire safety rules.
