13yo Kazakh karateka wins top honors at World Shotokan Karate-do Championships

13-year-old Dariya Kim of Balkhash, Kazakhstan, won the title of the WSKA World Shotokan Karate-do Championships 2023 held in Japan, Kazinform News Agency cites Karaganda region akimat. Dariya is a three-time champion of Kazakhstan in her age category.

20 athletes defended the country’s colors at the WSKA World Shotokan Karate-do Championships 2023. Kazakhstan won four gold, two silver and three bronze medals at large.
