14 airports to be reconstructed in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM 377 kilometers of the Western Europe - Western China highway has been paved since the beginning of this year. The infrastructure is being financed and developed concurrently.

The new highway is a part of the presidential program of industrial development. Within the framework of the program, KZT 2.8 billion has been alloted for its implementation, including reconditioning of roads, development of agriculture, construction, etc.

The legal framework has been reviewed, more than 50 laws have been amended and sectoral programs have been elaborated in order to implement this program, suggested by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In line with the program, nine bus stations and 61 coach terminals are to be constructed. In addition, reconstruction of 300 railway stations and 14 airports is planned until 2020.
