14 evacuated from fire in Karaganda

14 people including eight children were evacuated from a burning residential building in Karaganda on Saturday, January 13, Kazinform News Agency reports via the local emergencies department.

The fire broke out in an electrical closet of a ten-story residential building. It was extinguished in less than an hour. No victims or injuries were reported.

Using the isolation escape hood, the firefighters rescued 14 people including eight children from the burning building.
