140-seat kindergarten opens in N Kazakhstan

A new 140-seat kindergarten opened in Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites the akimat of the region.

For the past eight years, it has been the first children’s care center built out of public funds. It is equipped with everything necessary for children's harmonious development and the discovery of their creative potential.

It is the second preschool establishment unveiled this year in the region. Sponsors funded the construction of the Birlik kindergarten. One more will be built at the expense of the government's special state fund in the Zhas Orken residential estate.

As written before, mass sports are in the spotlight in North Kazakhstan region. The percentage of the population engaged in sports has reached 42%. This figure is expected to exceed 50% by the end of 2025, akim (governor) of the North Kazakhstan region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov told a breifing early December.
