150 people evacuated from fire at ArcelorMittal Temirtau mine - Karaganda oblast
ASTANA. November 23. KAZINFORM Over 150 people have been evacuated from fire at a mine of "ArcelorMittal Temirtau"Company in Saran town, Karaganda oblast, Kazinform has learnt from the Emergencies Ministry.
According to the Ministry, the fire broke out at 16:15 yesterday and covered the area of 10 sq m.
151 people were evacuated. There are no victims, the authorities say.
The fire was caused by flaming of thermic insulant and two tons of coals in receiving bunker No 10.
The fire was liquidated at 17:53 by the firefighting services of Karaganda region's emergencies department.
