17 regional projects aimed at social assistance presented in Astana

ASTANA. October 25. KAZINFORM - Today there will be presented 17 projects from the regions which are aimed at providing social support, assistance and services, this has been reported by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection Tamara Duissenova in an interview with reporters in the course of the Republican conference on social projects in Kazakhstan.

"Presidential Decree has defined the last Saturday of October as the Day of social worker. On the eve of that holiday we are to hold a conference dedicated to the best social projects implemented in Kazakhstan. Today there will be performed 17 projects from the regions, aimed at providing social support, assistance and services", said the Minister.

According to her words, the projects cover both multi-directional and social protection of children and elderly, singles and persons with disabilities.
