18.4 percent of areas under grain crops harvested in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. September 5. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan harvested grain from the area of 2.89 billion hectares, or 18.4% of the total area, according to the press service of the state holding "KazAgro", Primeminister.kz informs.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the average yield is 12.2 centners per hectare.
KazAgro is planning to allocate 17 billion tenge for the harvesting campaign. 13 billion tenge of this amount falls on extra-budgetary resources of JSC "KazAgroFinance" intended for purchase of grain machinery and equipment. About 3.9 billion is the money of the Agrarian Credit Corporation.
In addition, the Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture allocates about 500 million tenge for the financing of cotton growers in the south of the country within the framework of the program "Yegіnzhay".
