18 investment projects performed in W Kazakhstan

sp;URALSK. November 11. KAZINFORM /Gaisagali Yeraly/ 18 investment projects worth KZT 18.5 bln have been implemented in West Kazakhstan oblast. Six of them relate to agricultural products processing, five were realized in construction sector. Two projects are directed to innovation-industrial development, three ones - in hydrocarbons and two more - in infrastructure development.

In accordance with the President's instruction, the region created a Coordination Council on Industrial-Innovative Development, a regional industrialization map is being elaborated at present. To date the council approved 23 projects to the amount of USD 63 mln which were submitted for consideration of the ministries of economy and industry. Three projects were included in the national industrialization map. These are a gas turbine electric power station with a capacity of 54 MWt, a vegetable oil processing plant and a feeding complex for 8, 640 heads. Five more projects are under consideration of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
