180 caught in the snow evacuated

ASTANA. KAZINFORM 180 people caught in the snow in Aktobe region were rescued, the Kazakh Emergency Situations Ministry said.

3 buses carrying 150 people, including 12 children, en route Samara-Shymkent were towed out of drifting snow. Another 30 people and 8 vehicles were rescued along the Karabutak-Komsomol highway.
