181 observers accredited for presidential elections in Kazakhstan so far

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 181 observers from international organizations and foreign countries are accredited for the presidential elections in Kazakhstan, member of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan Marat Sarsembayev informed.

"As of now, 48 observers within the OSCE/ODIHR mission from 25 foreign countries, 5 observers from two CIS member states and 30 observers from foreign countries are accredited for monitoring the elections process," M. Sarsembayev said.

Besides, 98 representatives of the mass media are accredited on a permanent basis by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan who can also take part in the monitoring process.

"In total, 181 observers are accredited form international organizations and foreign countries," M. Sarsembayev told.
