Among those to receive training in AI are 500,000 schoolchildren, 300,000 students, 90,000 civil servants, 80,000 entrepreneurs and 30,000 people from other categories, said Madiyev.

Presently, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry is working to launch educational projects, including the TUMO creative technology center for schoolchildren.

The first Central Asia AI school TomorrowSchool to train specialists in the AI field was commissioned this October. All this enables to develop the country’s human capital, discover talents and promote the IT sector, added the minister.

Speaking about the country’s efforts in attracting foreign IT specialists, Madiyev said that the Digital Nomad Visa was launched for IT specialists, who can obtain it through simplified procedures.

Work is ongoing to launch another program - Digital Nomad Residency, which simplifies procedures for obtaining a residence permit in an online regime. The program is expected to be launched next month. The Expat Center operates at the AIFC, which serves as the ‘single window’ for receiving public services for foreign specialists, said Madiyev.
