1st game of Kazakh hockey team at World Junior Ice Hockey Championships to be aired live

Kazakhstan's hockey team is scheduled to play their first match at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in Ottawa, Canada on the night of December 28, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.

The first opponent of the Kazakh team is Sweden. The competition will start at 03:00 pm Astana time.

Qazsport TV channel will broadcast the game. The online broadcast will also be available on inhockey.tv.

In Group B Kazakhstan will play against the national teams of Sweden, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Slovakia for a chance to propel to the playoffs.

As earlier reported, the Kazakh women’s ice hockey team had won in the second match of the third round of qualification for the 2026 Olympic Games in Piešťany, Slovakia.
