1st meeting of Commission on Year of Trade Jobs held in government

The first meeting of the Commission on Year of Trade Jobs took place, primeminister.kz reports.

Deputy Premier Tamara Duissenova chaired Monday the first meeting of the Commission on Year of Trade Jobs with a republican and regional action plan on the table. The plan covers seven key areas and includes 70 steps. A list of 20 regional initiatives was compiled based on the plan, providing for improvement of the system of training in trade jobs, job orientation for pupils, and workplace collaboration.

According to Deputy Minister of Enlightenment Edil Osspan, 12 major republican and international events are to take place nationwide this year, set to kick off on February in the capital.

Under the Year of Trade Jobs, Samruk Kazyna national welfare fund, which offers around 190,000 trade jobs, reveals its plans to seek agreements with education facilities on dual education, hold job fairs as well as implement programs aimed for young specialists’ development. The fund is to add 64,000 more jobs to its total of over 255,000 by 2032.

The action plan also eyes participation of Central Asian representatives in the international forum IC3, republican hackathon INNOVATION as well as professional skills championship TURKICSKILLS set to take place in Aktau.

During the meeting, the representatives of ERG and Allur Group announced partnership relations with industrial education facilities, social support for workers and future plans.

Earlier it was reported that the Commission on Year of Trade Jobs had been established in Kazakhstan.
