1st Vice-Minister of Industry and New Technologies: EXPO-2017 important task for nation's consolidation

ASTANA. June 26. KAZINFORM - EXPO-2017 is an important task for the nation's consolidation. This opinion has been voiced by Albert Rau, First Vice-Minister of Industry and New Technologies, at the 7th meeting of the Kazakh-German intergovernmental working group on trade and economic cooperation which is being held in "Radisson" hotel.

A.Rau expressed his gratitude for support of German's government in choosing Astana as a location for the exhibition EXPO-2017.

"You have warned us that this task is not an easy one. We count on you and on German business in addressing this complex task", said A.Rau.

He also noted that Kazakhstan is actively working on implementation of State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development. To date there have been carried out more than 500 projects worth US $ 14 billion. Problem of energy conservation and effective management of natural resources, in accordance with the request of the Head of State, are being solved under this State Program.
