2 airlines to launch new flights to Southeast Asia from Kazakhstan
Two airlines are planning to launch new flights to Southeast Asia from Kazakhstan on Astana - Sihanoukville, Almaty - Sihanoukville, and Phú Quốc– Astana routes, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport.
Kazakhstan's airline SCAT is set to launch direct charter flights to Cambodia on Astana - Sihanoukville and Almaty - Sihanoukville routes.
The first flight from Astana departed on October 24. The flight from Almaty is scheduled for October 29. The flights will be operated on Boeing-757/737 MAX aircraft.
Vietnamese airline Vietjet Air plans to launch direct regular flights on Phú Quốc- Astana route twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday) on A-330 aircraft starting in fall-winter season of 2024-2025,.
