2 die in collision between car and truck in Pavlodar region

Two people died after a Hyundai Accent vehicle collided with a truck in Pavlodar region, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.  

The accident, involving a Hyundai Accent vehicle and a KamAZ truck, occurred on January 20 on the highway between Pavlodar and Kyzylorda cities. Upon arrival of the police and medics, two people were declared dead.

As a result of the accident, a driver and a passenger of the Hyundai Accent vehicle died on the scene, while another passenger was rushed to the hospital with injuries. A criminal case into the accident has been launched, said the police department of Pavlodar region.

It’s worth noting that the Hyundai Accent speedometer needle stuck at almost 200 kilometers per hour.

Earlier it was reported that at least 10 had been injured after a ski lift accident in northern Spain.
