2 earthquakes strike near Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Network of Kazakhstan seismic stations has recorded 2 earthquakes occurred 100 km from Almaty.

The epicenter of the first earthquake, according to reports from seismologists, which occurred at 12:40 p.m., located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, 71 km to the south-west from the city of Almaty. Magnitude reached 4 points. At 5:30 p.m. the second earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 was recorded. Its epicenter was 92 kilometers to the east from the city of Almaty. No casualties or damages were reported.
