2 million children receive financial aid under ‘Road to school’ program

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Over 6 years of implementation of the national action "Road to school" 2 million children have received financial aid.

"Traditionally, the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan announces the republican charity event called "Road to school" (from 1 August to 30 September). In the current year, the socially-oriented initiative of the Ministry is being held under the motto "Give good to children" and is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ratification in the Republic of Kazakhstan of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child", the press service of the MES reported. Over 6 years of implementation of the national action "Road to school" 2 million children have received financial aid amounted to KZT 8 billion 300 million.
