2 people die in Kazakhmys mine accident

An accident in the Zhaisan mine owned by Kazakhmys LLP claimed lives of two people in Zhambyl region, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Two shaft workers born in 1981 and 2002 reportedly sustained fatal injuries during the accident.

A special commission was set up to determine the circumstances and cause of the accident.

The management and staff of Kazakhmys LLP extend their deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
