2 saved from rubble of collapsed building in Kostanay

 Two people have been saved in the search and rescue efforts following an explosion in the one-story building in Kostanay. One man, whose identity is yet unknown, has been found dead, Kazinform News Agency correspondent cites the emergency situations department of Kostanay region. 

On December 11, at 12:39 am, it was reported that a one-story building for truck repairing collapsed allegedly due to a gas-air mixture explosion in the village of Amangeldi, Kostanay city. According to witnesses, people are reportedly trapped under the rubble, the department said.

12 people sought first medical aid following the incident. Kostanay region’s emergency situations department and local executive bodies’ forces have been deployed to carry out the search and rescue efforts.
