2-year-old boy falls five floors from balcony

KARAGANDA. April 16. KAZINFORM A two-year-old toddler fell off a fifth-floor balcony Saturday afternoon in Satpayev town, Karaganda region.

According to the region's internal affairs department, the boy was left on the balcony alone. As a result of the incident, the child was hospitalized with head injuries, multiple broken ribs and both hands, left forearm and now is in critical condition. An investigation is underway.

Over the past month this is the third accident when children are injured after falling from a height, the department said.
