2009 National Census results to be published in 2010-2011 - Statistics Agency

ASTANA.  November 16. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ The results of the 2009 National Census will be published in 2010-2011, Kazakhstan Agency for Statistics which held an "open doors day" today informed.

As the reps of the Agency noted, in accordance with the Government's resolution as of November 28, 2008 the results of the National Census held in February-March 2009 will be fully published in 2010-2011. By this time the agency plans to issue around 90 brochures containing the main results of the census and an analytical report.

Representatives of all interested sate bodies, public organizations, business-elite, universities and mass media were invited for the event.

The participants got familiarized with the work of the Agency's web portal (www.stst.kz ), periodicals with statistical reports on major macro-economic and social indices etc.
