2024 Olympic Games: Kazakhstani boxers’ schedule released

Kazakhstani boxers will for sure attract attention at the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games. The first fight involving Mukhammedsabyr Bazarbay will take place on July 27, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The following is a preliminary schedule of boxing bouts at the 2024 Olympics:

63.5 kg (men) - Mukhammedsabyr Bazarbay

July 28
1/16 finals
57 kg (men) - Makhmud Sabyrkhan;
71 kg (men) - Aslanbek Shymbergenov;
50 kg (women) - Nazym Kyzaibay;
92 kg (men) - Aibek Oralbay.

July 29
1/8 finals
63.5 kg (men) - Mukhammedsabyr Bazarbay (if successful);
+92 kg (men) - Kamshybek Kunkabayev.

July 30
1/16 finals
57 kg (women) - Karina Ibragimova

1/8 finals
51 kg (men) - Saken Bibossinov;
80 kg (men) - Nurbek Oralbay.

July 31
1/8 finals
57 kg (men) - Makhmud Sabyrkhan (if successful);
71 kg (men) - Aslanbek Shymbergenov (if successful);
75 kg (women) - Valentina Khalzova.

August 1
1/8 finals
50 kg (women) - Nazym Kyzaibay (if successful).

In the next stage of the competition the boxers will vie for a chance to propel to the semifinals.

As previously reported, the boxers took off from Almaty International Airport to France. The national team is comprised of ten athletes.
