2024 Olympics: Kazakhstan’s Olga Safronova finishes 7th in women's 200m race

Runner Olga Safronova of Kazakhstan came in seventh in the Women’s 200m Round 1 - Heat 1 at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the National Olympic Committee.

With a result of 23.58 seconds, Olga Safronova of Kazakhstan finished seventh in the Women’s 200m Round 1 - Heat 1 at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Kazakhstani is set to try her second shot at the women’s 200m semi-finals in repechage round.

Kazakhstan has so far won four medals, including one gold, one silver and two bronze ones, at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan's gymnast Nariman Kurbanov brought Kazakhstan a silver medal at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris.

The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are set to run from July 26 through August 11. The Games brought together 10,500 athletes from 206 national Olympic committees. Team Kazakhstan is represented by 80 athletes in 25 sports.
