2025-2027 National Budget discussed in Majilis

Today, the deputies of the Majilis have discussed the draft laws "On the National Budget for 2025-2027" and "On the Guaranteed Transfer from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025-2027", Kazinform News Agency learned from the press service of AMANAT Party.

According to Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Economy Nurlan Baibazarov, net foreign exchange assets of the National Fund are projected to amount to $62.2 billion in 2025, $69.9 billion and $78.7 billion in 2026 and 2027. The guaranteed transfer to the national budget for 2025-2027 is set at 2 trillion tenge annually.

Finance Minister Madi Takiyev added that revenues to the national budget for 2025 are projected at 21.7 trillion tenge, in 2026 - 19.4 trillion tenge, in 2027 - 20.9 trillion tenge.

Budget expenditures in 2025 are planned to increase by 1.7 trillion tenge against the previous year and will amount to 25.8 trillion tenge.

Social sphere spending is expected to make 9.8 trillion tenge, which will account for 38% of the total volume of expenditures.

Deputy of the Mazhilis, head of the working group Yerkin Abil reported that as many as 250 amendments were made to the draft laws.

“This year the regions have exceeded their revenue targets by 765 billion tenge. Thus, the regions can independently tackle certain problems at the expense of local budgets. The deputies proposed to allocate additional 15 billion tenge to implement the President's and the Party’s programs, in particular for the "Auyl - El Besigi" program (villages development program) and drinking water provision projects," he said.

Majilis deputies Askhat Aimagambetov, Yerlan Sairov, Tatyana Savelyeva, Nartai Sarssengaliev, Berik Beissengaliyev and others participated in the meeting of the Party’s faction.
