20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence - holiday of our women: Nazarbayev

ASTANA. March 5. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "The 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence is firstly the holiday of our women," President N.Nazarbayev has said at the Congress of Women of Kazakhstan today.

"Women inspired and supported us. In this regard, the 20^th anniversary of Kazakhstan is firstly the holiday of our women," the Head of State said.

N.Nazarbayev also said that special commission on celebration of the 20^th anniversary of independence was established and every region, every village would see the achievements of Kazakhstan. The President also noted that the main achievement of the country during the independence was accord and unity of people.
