20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence medals awarded in France
On behalf of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev Kazakh Ambassador to France Nurlan Danenov awarded ex-President of the French Senate Christian Poncelet, head of the interparliamentary friendship group "France-Kazakhstan" Andre Dulet, member of the interparliamentary friendship group "France-Kazakhstan" at the National Assembly, head of the French delegation to the OSCE PA Michel Voisin, Transport Minister Thierry Mariani, Total President Christophe de Margerie, ex-Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan (2006-2009) Alen Kuanon.
Addressing the present, the Kazakh Ambassador briefed on the country's socioeconomic achievements for the past two decades, the country's role in the regional and international arena. He emphasized personal contribution of those awarded in expansion ad consolidation of the Kazakh-French strategic partnership, strengthening of the nationhood and economic development of Kazakhstan.
