229 new cases of measles registered in Kyrgyzstan since beginning of 2025
Since the beginning of 2025, 229 new cases of measles have already been registered in Kyrgyzstan, including 144 in the capital city. This became known at a meeting of the field Operational Headquarters on the incidence of measles, Kabar reports.

The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported that at the end of 2024, 14 thousand 380 cases of measles were recorded across the country.
The main reason for the increase in morbidity is low vaccination coverage, which in Bishkek is only 69%, while the required indicator is up to 95%.
Earlier it was reported that Kyrgyzstan would adopt the National Development Program until 2030.
