23 new productions to be launched in 2009 in Karaganda

KARAGANDA. March 13. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ 23 new productions are to be put into operation in Karaganda oblast this year. Akim of the oblast Nurlan Nigmatullin has made it public at a sitting with the local authorities on discussion of the objectives outlined in the President?s Message to the people of Kazakhstan.

?This will provide employment and create more than 1, 000 jobs. I believe realization of industrial projects should be viewed as one of the key factors of the region?s future development which will allow attracting more than KZT 26 bln?, N. Nigmatullin said.
