2.4 mln square meters of housing built in Kazakhstan’s Almaty

Last year the city saw a decrease in housing construction by 10.3%, Kazinform News Agency reports.

2.4 million square meters of housing were built in Almaty last year against 2.67 million square meters commissioned in 2023, the city administration’s press service reports.

As earlier reported, Almaty plans to provide 3,050 families with housing in 2025.

To note, in 2024, Kazakhstan built 18.96 square meters of housing, a record indicator in the country’s housing construction sector over the years of independence.
